“ Original Mexican food NOT Tex-mex. Everything we ordered had a lot of flavor. The owner and Chef Carlos is very passionate about cooking and the service is the best. He came to our table to welcome us and make sure everything was good. The tortillas are homemade! The salsas are so good it’s impossible to choose a favorite one. You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu. First time visiting and will definitely be back more often to try different options. We wish we heard about this place much sooner. Too bad it’s about an hour from us but well worth the drive. ”

“ Absolutely incredible experience at Savory Mexican in Cumming! From the moment we walked in, Ellie greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home and treated us like VIPs. Carlos took time to share the heart behind their menu — everything is made from scratch, no seed oils, and no hormones in the meats. He even brought us samples of their fresh juices (Hibiscus, Mango, and Horchata — all amazing!) and treated us to their handmade chips and guacamole. The food? Next level. Mark had the brisket and I had the lamb — both dishes were packed with flavor and prepared perfectly. The passion Carlos and Ellie have for what they do shines through in every detail, from the food to the hospitality. This place is a true gem. We can’t wait to come back!
